Students residing in the West Export community will attend schools that are administered by the Franklin Regional School District. The district manages 5 schools, and with the exception of 1 elementary school are located at the same site along School Road. There are 3 elementary schools, 1 middle school and 1 high school that fall under the highly rated school district.
Heritage Elementary School is the largest of the two elementary schools that fall near West Export, welcoming roughly 580 students annually. The school provides education from kindergarten through grade five.
Newlonsburg Elementary School is also located at the campus and welcomes students from kindergarten through the fifth grade. The school is ranked in the top 5% of all primary schools in the state and is home to approximately 250 students.
Franklin Regional Middle School features classes for grade six to grade eight students. Throughout the academic year there are approximately 840 students who attend the middle school with a low teacher to student ratio of 1 to 12. Franklin Regional High School is the final stop for public school students with classes from grade nine to grade twelve.
